 The
Union Supper Club is open again. Jackie Matzinger and Penny
Switzer gained possession o the building on July 1st. The
Union Supper Club has been in Union many, many years. More
than 30 years ago, Wayne and Becky Caster make the place famous.
Before that Margaret and Carl Sanders operated the Supper Club for
many years.
There has been a lot of cleaning and updating to get the doors open
again. A new buffet line is one of the noticeable differences.
Besides the regular menu, a buffet is served Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday nights with something different each night and each week.
But the tried and true menu items remain, such as broasted chicken
and homemade onion rings. The Union Supper Club is also home
to the local Kiwanis and many other clubs. Groups are
encouraged to use the Supper Club for meetings as well
and they will make special arrangements for Saturday Lunches.
Jackie and Penny will also work with groups or individuals to
cater. |

 "We'll
serve liquor, but that's not our main goal" Jackie stated.
"We've gone back to the family restaurant atmosphere. If
people want to come in for a drink, though, they are more than
welcome"Business hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 11 am to 9 pm and Friday, 11 am to 10 pm. On Saturday they are open from 4pm to 10 pm.
