Tar Heel Days Festival - The Second Weekend of August,  Friday August 10, and  Saturday August 11.   Parade at 11 a.m. on Saturday, meals and activities Friday evening and all day Saturday.   Sponsored by the Betterment Association.

Christmas Open House – Middle of December.   Sponsored by the Betterment Association, the Hardin County Savings Bank and City Businesses.
